Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry of Oakland Baptist Church seeks to help every 6th - 12th grade student make steps toward deeper faith in Christ.

At Oakland, students are invited to participate in a number of weekly activities as well as special events, trips, and retreats throughout the year. Each of these activities is designed to fulfill the purposes of fellowship, worship, discipleship, and mission. Weekly activities include Sunday School, Sunday Night Youth Group and Wednesday Night Mission Possible. OBC offers a variety of retreats for our youth — including a fall retreat to kick off the new year, a high school winter retreat, Festival By the Sea (a choir retreat) and a week-long summer mission trip.
