Palmetto Volunteers in Medicine Clinic opened its doors in October 2008. This clinic was the dream of three Oakland members. They quickly expanded their planning group to include people from all areas of York County. This clinic is the first free medical clinic in York County to serve the uninsured population in our county. Volunteers are needed to staff the clinic - both medical personnel and non-medical personnel. Go to palmettofreeclinic.org for more information.
